INCA Awards Success for SERS

9th July 2014
SERS are celebrating after being shortlisted for yet another prestigious national award.

We have been shortlisted in the Training category in the INCA Awards 2014, presented by the leading trade body for the external wall insulation sector.

The accolade recognises SERS’ excellence in training its own people, employees of its partner companies and contractors and also the local community.

The SERS Academy is home to our flourishing apprenticeship scheme and develops tailored training plans for each individual to ensure that the training delivered caters for individual needs and requirements.

The academy also offers programmes in support of our insulation training, including health and safety and Green Deal qualifications. The academy offers these qualifications to SERS employees, but also to clients, sub-contractors and members of the public.

The INCA Awards are presented annually by the Insulated Render and Cladding Association to recognise innovation and excellence in external wall insulation. They demonstrate the importance of external wall insulation in improving the energy efficiency of buildings.

Gearoid Lane of the INCA judging panel said, “The standard of entries was extremely high, which goes to show the excellent quality of work which is being done in the EWI industry. INCA members are consistently using EWI to transform the energy efficiency of buildings and improve the lives of people across the UK. Congratulations to all the companies that made it onto a very competitive short list.”

The winners will be revealed at the INCA 2014 Awards Dinner in October at the Sheraton Park Hotel in London’s Mayfair.

SERS are delighted to be shortlisted for such a sought-after industry award.

The great thing is that this accolade recognises our commitment to training and to achieving the highest standards in the industry. It is a great honour.
