300 Homes to Benefit from Major Home Insulation Contract 7th March 2014 SERS has clinched a major contract to insulate nearly 350 homes on behalf of Scottish Power. SERS’ team are providing solid wall insulation to 348 flats owned by Caerphilly Borough Council in South Wales. Work has just started on the project and will be completed by the end of March in a project which will help residents cut down their fuel bills.SERS will fit external wall insulation with a pebble-dash finish to 212 flats in the Gelligaer area of Caerphilly, 96 in Pontlottyn and 40 in Porset Park. The whole project will be completed in less than three months.SERS director Mike Roberts said the company took a pro-active role in the energy-saving project, approaching Caerphilly Council to establish that the work needed to be done. “ We then secured full funding from Scottish Power, with whom SERS has worked on several other major projects, particularly in Scotland. We have also worked with Caerphilly council in the past, so they are aware of our capabilities.
