SERS Wins Top Accolades

28th February 2014
Last night was a truly memorable night for all at SERS. Not only did we win the award in which we were shortlisted for, Most Promising Growth Business of the year in the South Wales Chamber of Commerce Awards, SERS also won Welsh Business of the Year. Only moments after collecting the award for Most Promising Growth Business were SERS back up on the stage to collect the top award of the night – Welsh Business of the Year.

This overarching award, which was judged from all of the shortlisted entries, is an exceptional accolade for SERS. As the award was presented the high calibre of entries was praised making this award even more of an achievement for SERS.

The event, held at The Vale Resort near Cardiff, was hosted by Olympic downhill skier Graham Bell and had a winter Olympic theme. With over 200 attending the black-tie event, it was an evening which will not be forgotten by SERS.

SERS has a bulging trophy cabinet after winning a number of awards over the last year and these two new trophies will sit alongside perfectly. Other awards include the National Insulation Association awards for Outstanding Customer Service and Best Social Housing/Regeneration Project, and the Energy Efficiency Insulation Installer of the Year award at the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Awards 2013. SERS has also been shortlisted in the South West Green Energy Awards and the Business in the Community Wales Responsible Small Company of the Year awards.

These wins come just months after SERS were listed in the Sunday Times Virgin 100 table, as well as picking up the Retrofit Installer of the Year award for the high standard of its insulation work.
