SERS Academy Open Day in Conjunction with WNRTG

Wales National Roofing Training Group (WNRTG) have been successful in being approved to offer a Specialist Apprenticeship Programme (SAP) NVQ2 in pitched roofing, and they will be using the SERS Academy facilities to deliver the training!

The courses, which commenced in late May, will be delivered by the National Roofing Federation. The first week of training saw apprentices on a Lead programme.

We would like to invite all local employers who are interested in this training for their employees to join us at an open day to view the facilities and bring along any of your staff who may now, or in the future, might attend one of the programmes

Mike Roberts, Director at SERS will be a key speaker at the event along with representatives from CITB, NFRC, the sponsors of the programme and the trainer and assessor for you to make contact with.

The apprentices will be in groups of 6 and programmes will last between 12 and 14 months. A number of programmes will be running at the same time, with staggered starts over the coming months.
