Pro Bono Work for Local School Gives Apprentices a Chance to Shine

16th May 2014
Following on from our support recently in their parking initiative by providing high visibility jackets we were more than happy to support the school further by carrying out a spot of pro bono work.

The Twyn School contacted SERS and asked whether we could carry out some work to their PE room which was in a state of disrepair. The walls were crumbling and it was in desperate need of a re-plaster to make it a nice room for the children. SERS were more than happy to help out and used the work as a chance to allow some our apprentices to really let their skills shine and to allow them to gain further experience. One of our most experienced staff members, who is also a trainer, worked alongside the apprentices to ensure the work was completed correctly and to a high standard.
