Monmouth Homes to Receive External Wall Insulation With SERS 29th July 2014 SERS is carrying out a major £200,000 contract to fit external wall insulation to 40 homes on behalf of Monmouth Housing Association.SERS teams are providing external solid wall insulation and other external improvements to the MHA properties across the Monmouth and Abergavenny area. Work is just about to get underway and is due to be completed in the autumn in a project which will help residents cut down their fuel bills by hundreds of pounds a year.SERS director Mike Roberts said the work, as well as saving money on fuel bills, would dramatically improve the external appearance of the properties. “ The work will help make houses easier to heat, help homes stay warm for longer, and generally improve the living conditions of the properties concerned. The residents will certainly notice the difference. Mike Roberts, Managing Director, SERS Over the last few years, SERS have completed external wall insulation work on 140 homes in the Monmouth area, some of which are owned by MHA, and some in private ownership. They have recently completed circa 200 properties in the Chepstow area of Monmouthshire. The latest programme of work is being partly funded under the Government’s Green Deal Home Improvement scheme which funds insulation work up to £6,000 per property or three-quarters of the cost. The sum of funding available will depend on the amount already accessed by MHA as there is an annual cap of £160,000 that organisations can claim from government funding. SERS are assisting the client to access the funding. If you are interested in having your home refurbished with external wall insulation, please contact us here > Contact Us SERS Supports Caerphilly Extravaganza More Awards Success for SERS
