Best Practice Guide Roadshow to Come to an End for 2014

The SERS launch roadshow of our External Wall Insulation Best Practice Guide will come to an end on the 19th of November after the last five seminars are delivered across the South.

SERS commissioned the BRE to undertake a review of the quality control and methods of work, when carrying out assessments and retrofit installation of solid wall insulation to Solid Wall, Non-traditional and Hard to Treat Properties. The report focusses on quality assurance and best practice guidance, and provides clients and installers with a tool-kit and recommendations for avoidance of unintended consequences, thus enabling the decision makers to make the right choices when assessing the suitability of measures, and how they should be carried out.

SERS are committed to promoting best practice processes and guidance and commissioned the report so that it can be shared with peers and key stakeholders in the industry to further improve working methods and deliver more robust solutions.

• Bristol (13th November 2014)
• Bournemouth (18th November 2014)
• Portsmouth (19th November 2014)

DCE Meet the Expert Technical Forums are a one day exhibition and CPD Networking event offering a great opportunity for local building and construction professionals involved in specifying, buying, estimating, surveying and so on to meet industry experts and discuss some of the latest innovations. Free to attend, with refreshments provided, delegates receive a CPD certificate of attendance for 6 hours.
