Terracotta Rainscreen Cladding
Very much a firm favourite with Architects,
Developers and Environmentalists, terracotta
rainscreen cladding has satisfied the stringent
demands of the modern build whilst exceeding
the desires for natural use of materials in
construction.
Aesthetically pleasing with precision lines on
grand elevations plus dramatic curves to fully
optimise all design appearances & complimentary
to other components, terracotta rainscreen cladding
is available in many colours. Possessing excellent acoustic
and thermal properties, makes this system extremely
popular and cost effective.
Using a well established ventilated cavity principle,
the terracotta tiles are fixed to an aluminium support,
designed in accordance with DIN 413 Part A and fixed
to either blockwork, concrete, lightweight steel frame,
timber or existing structure that requires over cladding.
Using aluminium cleats and vertical T sections, each tile is
then locked into place by two mechanically fixed clips.
With all components non-combustible plus no
requirement for seals or gaskets, this makes terracotta
rainscreen cladding virtually maintenance free for
the life of the product.
SERS façade engineering team with their proven
